I’m Karly Robin. You can call me Karly. I’m the one behind all this; the lens’, the website, the emails and the instagram posts. Robin is my middle name. I’ve never connected to my legal last names, Karly Robin always felt right!

I was born in Nova Scotia. I spent 6 of my adult life on the west coast, where I met my husband and we welcomed our first baby. We’re currently back by the ocean and now have two littles in our family. Olive is three. Jude is 6 months and counting!

I’m a self taught photographer (with skills learned and pulled from fellow creatives). I have an undying passion for capturing life’s sweetest moments. I try to illustrate with my editing how these moments make me feel. Like a dream. I love romanticizing life and motherhood. It’s not all rainbows and sunshine, but even a storm is beautiful. Motherhood and love have been my biggest focus.

I’ve been taking pictures of anything and everything since I was a little girl, but my interest peaked at 15 when I finally purchased my first digital camera: landscapes, abandoned homes, on to headshots and finally braving my first wedding in 2011. (an Alice in Wonderland theme at that). Being a photographer remained a hobby on and off for many years, until the birth of my daughter, Olive, which inspired me to take it on full force. – she’s been a blessing in more ways than I could have ever imagined.
